Statement of Robert E. Schleper Jr. on the state of the race for Cuyahoga County Council, District 6:
“While our campaign is leading by a narrow margin, in what is likely to be one of the closest in the history of Cuyahoga County, we realize there are still ballots to be counted—including those arriving by mail this week and provisional ballots cast at the polls.”
“I’m incredibly grateful for the support of voters across the district who prioritized this race and put our campaign in a position to hold a lead following Election Day. Although I am anxious to get to work on addressing the challenges facing Cuyahoga County, I will reserve additional comment until the final votes are tallied and certified.”
